수평선과 지평선이 압도하는 영천강 수변산책로에 파빌리온을 세운다. 지역미술관과 인접한 땅위에 토속성이 가미된 휴식의 장소를 만든다. 투박한 질감의 돌과 미래적인 선형의 벤치의 극적인 대비를 통해 긴장감을 부여한다. 강가를 따라 걸으며 지평선으로 조용히 묻어든 파빌리온은 지역 주민들에게 휴식과 만남의 장소로 기억된다.
A pavilion is built on the walkway along the Yeongcheon River, where the horizon overwhelms. The pavilion adjacent to the local art museum, a place of relaxation with a touch of locality is created. The dramatic contrast between the rough-textured stone and the futuristic linear bench creates a sense of tension. Walking along the riverside, the pavilion quietly buried into the horizon is remembered by local residents as a place of rest and meeting.
