​​Gunpo Central Park, one of the award winning city park projects is intended as a catalyst for community activity and recreation. The interpretation of the senses of backyard places, "Madang' in Korea becomes the main design strategy for creating and rediscovering our lost backyards, allowing city dwellers the chances to feel about the reminiscences of the lost spaces. This losses - purely high-minded for our everyday life - that have constantly been happening in the cities were a starting point of the project, and Bringing them back to the people in neighborhoods where backyards are not readily available was one of our main challenges on this community park project.
