다리 밑에 있는 공간은 무한한 잠재력을 갖고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 방치되고 버려지는 경우가 많다. 조경의 경계를 확장하고 새롭게 탐구하는 기회로 교각하부 공간을 다루게 되었다. 무엇보다 주목했던 점은 주민들에게 가장 친근한 공간은 무엇인지 고민한다. 공공 예술로서 가치도 중요하지만 사람들이 편하게 이용하는 공간인지 아닌지 또한 중요한 문제다. 여러 가지 토목과 관련한 이슈들을 극복하고 공공 미술로서, 동네 아지트로서 다리 밑이 새롭게 자리 잡게 되었다. 대규모 인원을 수용하는 선형의 벤치, 야간 조명 연출, 식물 교육 장소, 노천 마을 카페를 통해 하천변에 새로운 문화장소로 거듭나기를 바란다. Under bridge space has infinite potentials. Nevertheless, it is often neglected and abandoned. As an opportunity to expand the boundaries of landscape architecture, we explore under bridge spaces. Above all, main questions was what would be the most intimate space for the residents. As public art, its value is important, but whether or not it is a space that people can use comfortably is also an important aspect. After overcoming various issues related to civil engineering, the under bridge space took a new place as public art and neighborhood loving venue. We hope that it will be revived as a new cultural place along the river through a linear bench accommodating a large number of people, ambient night lighting , plant learning spot, and an outdoor village cafe.
