6개의 아파트 건물로 둘러싸인 웨스트 웨이브 파크는 잘 만들어진 정원을 통해 어떻게 상황 지향적인 새로운 형태의 정원 요소가 현장에서 지배적인 특징이 될 수 있는지를 설명하는 즐거운 경험을 제공하도록 설계되었다. 육지 서해안의 사행 해안선의 독특한 형태는 지역적으로 구동되며, 좌석, 길, 물가의 돌 가장자리, 놀이 기구 등 다양한 경관 요소에 적용된다. 풍경의 기하학적 탐구가 가장 친밀한 디자인 언어 중 하나로 여겨지기 때문에, 이 프로젝트는 정교하게 조각된 정원을 감상하는 시각적 경험의 중요성을 다룬다. West Wave Park surrounded by six apartment buildings is designed to offer delightful experiences through the well-crafted gardens addressing that how context-oriented new forms of garden elements can be dominant features on the site. A distinctive shape of the meandering shoreline on the west coast of the land is locally driven, and applied to a variety of landscape elements including seating, path, stone edge of the water feature, and even play equipments. As the geometrical exploration of the landscape is considered one of the most intimate design languages, this project addresses the importance of visual experiences appreciating elaborately carved gardens.
